The Marvel Legends range has grown from strength to strength. What does the future hold for the Marvel Legends range? Well who knows, what is certain is that ToyBiz is handing over the Legends baton to Hasbro in the new year. Is this a good move for Marvel Legends? only time will tell, lets hope they keep the clamshell packaging and don't change to card backs.Figures come with a comicorposterandsometimes an Exclusive trading card. Later Series also come with body parts that when collected and assemble make a bonus larger scale Marvel Legend figure.SERIES 1Gold Iron ManVariant.The Gold armor Iron Man is the variant figure in the first series of Marvel Legends. Aside from the armor colour, you can tell this version from the regular one because his mask is pointy at the tops rather than rounded.Blue Stealth Armour Iron Man Variant.One of the rarest Marvel Legends figures. Iron Mans armour on this version is a deep blue. This figure was a Walmart Exclusive.Iron Man.Iron Man is highly articulated and comes with a display base bearing the Stark logo.The Incredible Hulk.Early versions of this figure had rubber hands later versions had hinged fingers.Captain America.This figure comes with a shield which can be strapped to his forearm or worn over his shoulders like a backpack.The Toad.The Toad action figure was originally planned for another action figure series, but was revived when the Dr. Doom figure planned for this series needed more development time. As a result, the Toad is not as articulated as the other figures, but is still in scale with them and is nicely detailed.SERIES 2Doctor Doom.Doctor Doom's display base is a castle parapet which can be mounted on a wall.Doombot Variant. The Doombot figure is identical to the Doctor Doom figure except for the face.The Thing.The Thing action figure has the bendy fingers which did not work out for the Incredible Hulk figure in Series One.The Thing Trenchcoat Variant.Thing is dressed in his famous Trenchcoat, Hat and Sunglasses.Namor The Sub-Mariner.The Namor action figure has a flexible rubber vest which can be removed, as can his belt. Namor does have small wings on his ankles but none on his vest, as he had in the comics when he wore this costume. The included display base simulates a water wave which Namor can ride.Human Torch.Johnny Storm here appears with "flames on," rather than his blue Fantastic 4 costume.Hulk Ripped Shirt Variant.This version of The Hulk comes with his famous ripped shirt.SERIES 3Wolverine Unmasked Variant.This version of the Wolverine figure is identical to the standard version, except for a variant head sculpt which features Wolverine without his famous mask.Wolverine.This version of Wolverine sees him in his famous face mask.Daredevil.The Daredevil action figure is based on the movie Daredevil costume. The diorama base is the same as was included with the Daredevil from the Spider-Man Classics series.Ghost Rider.Ghost rider has 37 points of articulation. His display base is his motorcycle. The wheels are sculpted as flames, so they do not turn, but there are smaller wheels hidden underneath so that the bike can still roll.Thor.Thorhas 31 points of articulation and comes with his hammer Mjolnir. His cape and helmet are not removable.Magneto.The included diorama base is a battle-damaged Sentinel head. Magneto's helmet can be removed.SERIES 4Goliath Chase Figure.Goliath comes with two smaller figures, Wasp and Ant Man, but does not have a display base.Elektra.Elektra comes with two sais and two katana swords, along with a back-scabbard to hold them. Her costume is red and herdisplaystand is temple door. Gambit.The Gambit action figure comes with a cloth coat and a staff. He also has an "energy blast" accessory with four playing cards (aces) embedded inside.Beast.The Beast action figure comes with a display base which is a piece of the danger room.The Punisher.The Punisher action figure comes with a display base which is a broken fire escape. The Punisher has 35 points of articulation.SERIES 5Red Skull Chase Figure.Red Skullsdisplay base is a repainted version of the display base from the Captain America figure in the first series of Marvel Legends, a "battle damaged" building section and part of a tank.Blade.The Blade action figure is based on the second Blade movie, and uses a likeness of Wesley Snipes. His display base is a motorcycle.Silver Surfer.Comes with Howard the Duck figure.Mr. Fantastic.Comes with two sets of hands: one pair of hands are normal hands, while the other are big "stretched out" bendy hands. One of the big hands is, well, a big hand, while the other is a big hand shaped like a mallet or hammer.Sabretooth.Sabretooth's base is a foot, while Magneto had a head and Gambit had a hand. Sabretooth's articulation includes index/pointer fingers which can be moved separately from the other fingers.Colossus.Just like Sabretooth, the Colossus action figure comes with a display base which is part of a Sentinel, but this Sentinel portion is a torso piece.Nick Fury.The Nick Fury action figure comes with a Shield jetpack which is how he mounts onto his display base.SERIES 6Wolverine Unmasked Chase Variant.This version of the Wolverine action figure is the same as the regular Series 3 Wolverine, but it features a different head sculpt, showing him without his mask.Cable Chase Variant.The costume for the variant version is a blue shirt with brown trousers The regular costume is mostly blue and yellow.Dark Phoenix Chase Variant.The variant Phoenix action figure is actually Dark Phoenix, so she is in her red and gold costume rather than the green and yellow costume.Phoenix.The Phoenix action figure comes with a "Phoenix Effect" accessory, which is a firery bird shape which can be mounted to a wall.Juggernaut.One of the most popular figures. The Juggernaut figure features a removable helmet and his display base is a "Demolished Xavier Institute Base".Deadpool.Deadpool is packaged with a second character, Doop. CableCable comes with a transforming hover bike as his diorama display base. His costume is mainly blue and yellow.Wolverine.This version of Wolverine depicts Logan in his brown and tan costume. Punisher Movie Version.The Series 7 version depicts Thomas Jane as the character from the Punisher movie.(Series 6 also comes as a 4 comic edition)SERIES 7Goliath Chase Figure.Goliath comes with two smaller figures, Wasp and Ant Man, but does not have a display base. Goliath has 12 points of articulation.Phasing Vision Chase Variant.The variant Vision action figure is made from translucent plastic so that he appears to be altering his density to be able to pass through another object.Ghost Rider Chase Variant.The Ghost Rider variant has a blue costume and a red motorcycle.Hawkeye.The Hawkeye action figure comes with a bow and several arrows in his quiver. One of the arrows has a tiny Ant Man on the tip.Ghost Rider.The Ghost Rider action figure, like the Ghost Rider in Series 3, comes with his motorcycle as his display base. His motorcycle and costume are black.The Apocalypse.One of the giants of Marvel Legends. There is no intricate display base for this figure, just a roundish display base of "ruins."Silver Centurion Iron Man.The Silver Centurion Iron Man figure depicts Iron Man in his red and silver armor. His display base is a large rocket pack which attaches to his back.Vision.The regular version of the Vision also comes with a clear display stand so that he can be posed in a hovering position in mid-air.Weapon X Wolverine.This version of Wolverine depicts Logan as "Weapon X," and comes with a containment chamber base and several hoses (for pumping liquid Adamantium into the poor fellow). SERIES 8Classic Captain America Chase Variant.The variant Captain America is the "Classic Captain America," with wings on his head.STORM CHASE VARIANTThe variant version of the Storm action figure has a mohawk haircut instead of a full head of hair. Her outfit is the same as the regular version.Black Widow Chase Variant.The variant version of the Black Widow action figure has short blonde hair, depicting the second Black Widow, Yelena Belova.Man-Thing.The Man-Thing action figure has 37 points of articulation. His display base is a small swamp scene.Black Widow.The regular version of the Black Widow action figure has long red hair, depicting the first Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff. His display base is a Sentinel hand which has been "frozen" and has ice dripping from it.Doc Ock.The Doctor Octopus action figure has tentacles that snap into his back, and the "hands" at the ends of the tentacles feature articulation, giving this figure a high articulation count. SERIES 9 THE GALACTUS SERIESHulk Chase Variant.The variant Hulk action figure is a green version of the Hulk, comes with the left arm of Galactus.Bullseye Chase Variant.The variant version of the Bullseye action figure has an open-mouthed expression on his face and the white portions of his costume are a dirty grey.Bullseye.The regular version of the Bullseye action figure has a cranky expression, but a closed mouth. This figure has 44 points of articulation and comes with the left leg of Galactus.Nightcrawler.The Nightcrawler action figure has a bendy tail, but sadly lacks a pirate sword. This figure has 41 points of articulation and comes with the "lower torso" of Galactus.Deathlok.The Deathlok action figure comes with a gun that he can hold in his hand and is attached to his chest with tubing. This figure has 39 points of articulation and comes with the upper torso of Galactus.Dr Strange.The Dr. Strange action figure has a molded cape rather than a cloth one, and comes with the right arm of Galactus.War Machine.The War Machine action figure comes with extra pieces which attach to his armor to give the appearance of rockets firing from the shoulder-mounted rocket launcher, comes with the right leg of Galactus.Grey Hulk 1st Appearance.The regular version of the Hulk action figure is a grey version of the Hulk, comes with the left arm of Galactus.Proffesor X.The Professor X action figure has 33 points of articulation. His Cerebro helmet is removable. This figure comes with the head of Galactus.SERIES 10 THE SENTINEL SERIESCyclops Chase Variant.The variant version of the Cyclops action figure depicts him in his blue and white X-Factor costume.Angel Chase Variant.The variant version of the Angel action figure has a blue and white costume.Mystique.The Mystique action figure has 27 points of articulation and comes with the lower torso of the Sentinel. His jacket is black rather than brown. He comes with a cowboy hat, which is not included in the regular version.Hulkbuster Iron Man.Hulkbuster Iron Man has 36 points of articulation. Vengeance.The Vengeance action figure has 31 points of articulation and comes with a motorcycle. Taskmaster.The Taskmaster action figure has 34 points of articulation and comes with an air scooter.Ultron.The Ultron action figure has 29 points of articulation and comes with a glider.1st Appearance Thing.The Thing action figure has 32 points of articulation and comes with a jet scooter.
